The ginger-bread house

Wash up, put on your pajamas, brush your teeth and… off to the movies? Enrich your bedtime routine with your children by projecting an evening fairy tale right in their bedroom. 3…2…1…flash! And suddenly you are standing in the clearing in front of the gingerbread house.

On eight wooden cards, you will find the story of the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, together with carved pictures designed for backlighting. The whole set is created so that you can project the images while reading the story written on the cards at the same time.

You can project the pictures onto the wall using an ordinary flashlight or a headlamp, but even the light on a mobile phone will do (for better image quality, we recommend not using a dual flash). You can project onto the ceiling, the wall, the side of the bed, or any other light-colored surface.

If you stick to the written text of the fairy tale, it will take about eight minutes. But if you or your children use your imagination, you can develop the story however you like. Let your children tell the tale, and you may discover a little writer or storyteller at home.

There are no limits to imagination when it comes to how the cards can be used. Children can trace the pictures or use the cards to press the motifs into modeling clay. Let yourself be surprised by all the things your little ones can create with the cards.
