The tree little pigs

Houses need to be built properly. In the same way, fairy tales need to be told properly too — drawing little listeners into the story. It is not always easy to calm down little rascals after a whole day of playing. But if you add picture projection onto the wall or ceiling of the children’s room to the bedtime story, you will surely capture the attention of even the liveliest little ones.
The text of the fairy tale The Three Little Pigs is divided into eight wooden cards with carved pictures designed for backlighting. This allows you to project the motifs onto any light-colored surface while reading the story from the cards at the same time. To illuminate the pictures, an ordinary flashlight or the light from a mobile phone is enough (for better image quality, we recommend not using a dual flash).
If you stick to the text on the cards, reading will take about eight minutes. But you can also involve the children in the storytelling, come up with your own version, or use the play of light and shadow to add a little home theater. In that case, the cards can keep you entertained for the whole evening.
Your children can also enjoy the set of cards during the day. Little artists can trace the motifs and create their own fairy-tale book, press the pigs and their houses out of modeling clay, or blow airbrush markers like the wolf and use the pictures as stencils.
